The Art of Falling workshop led by Hwa Wei-An
The aim of this workshop is to introduce fundamental technical skills and ideas about falling. These are tools that find practical application as a safety net for learning new physical skills, or in the construction of floorwork patterns. After the introduction of these techniques and ideas, we’ll practice applying them in exercises around rolling and bailing out of tricky situations. Finally, the workshop will culminate with the learning of a movement sequence that demonstrates some of the ways in which falling can be used.
